Insights play a central role at ViacomCBS Streaming, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), our Research team is a crucial part of our success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced researcher with a background in testing Marketing material. Our team is collaborative and passionate and aims to drive business decisions on all levels through high quality, accurate, timely, relevant data, analysis, and insights!
This position will primarily focus on managing and conducting a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research to support the Paramount Content Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantitative and qualitative creative testing research methodologies for display and video marketing material!
Day to Day Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Determine appropriate research methodologies for creative and message testing
• Design and execute all phases of quantitative and qualitative research studies, including RFP and research plan development, questionnaire writing, crosstab analysis, report writing and presentation creation
• Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations related to business strategy and business KPIs
• Interface with research vendors, maintain those relationships and ensure projects are progressing smoothly
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including marketing, creative, and programming
• Key projects focused on Paramount Originals campaign testing may include concept, message, key art, storyboard and trailer testing, as well as full campaign evaluation
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of market research experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact, preferably in television, digital subscription services, digital media, or a research agency
• Experience with quantitative methodologies, such as monadic, max/diff, conjoint, derived importance, and Kano analyses
• Highly competent with qualitative research including focus groups and IDIs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive)
• Skilled in preparing effective and meaningful presentations with clear narratives and impactful insights to drive business decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Ability to execute quick turn projects when needed
• Detail-oriented, adept multi-tasker able to manage multiple projects at any given time
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills that can collaborate cross-functionally as well as with research team counterparts
• Have a passion for entertainment content
• Completed Bachelor's Degree, master's level education an asset
