ViacomCBS Consumer Products develops the licensed merchandise across all ViacomCBS networks. This includes Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, BET, CBS, Showtime, Paramount and more. Some of the key priority shows with robust product lines include SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, South Park, Star Trek, Yellowstone, and more.
Looking for an exciting opportunity in consumer products and social media? We are recruiting for a Manager, Social Media & Influencer Strategy to join the team! The Social Media & Influencer Strategy team builds and carries out social and influencer support plans to drive sales and awareness for consumer products. This team works cross-functionally between CP lines of business and each network/show social team to understand key priorities, build social commerce strategies, develop all CP social creative, and measure success of social campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Build and complete social media and influencer strategies to support ViacomCBS Consumer Products and drive sales and awareness for licensed merchandise across entire portfolio. This includes Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, Comedy Central, CBS, Showtime, Paramount, etc.
• Develop all organic CP social plans liaising between CP business leads to determine product priorities and providing recommendations to support evergreen initiatives, large-scale CP marketing campaigns and brand launches.
• Coordinate CP initiatives with network social teams to confirm platforms, calendarize support, align on creative solution that fits each network's brand narrative, and complete delivery of assets, copy, link.
• Lead the content creation process for all ViacomCBS CP social assets. Ideating creative approach, generating creative briefs, project handle internal and external creative resources, gathering product samples/samples for creation, route/review creative through necessary internal collaborators.
• Provide paid media solutions to amplify organic CP social plans and compliment network media efforts working with internal paid media teams on execution.
• Provide influencer and talent recommendations that amplify CP marketing objectives and compliment social support including paid campaigns and product seeding.
• Identify ways to organically feature CP within each ViacomCBS network/show pages and/or with ViacomCBS talent for incremental social support.
• Gather social analytics and measure sales to generate reports, campaign recaps and use insights to inform future social strategies.
• Lead all facets of @nickelodeonstyle and @mtvstyle Instagram accounts including overall strategy, content creation, product sourcing, publishing, community management, acquisition.
• Build and maintain relationships with social platform leads. Identify new social commerce trends, content trends, social ad units, and potential partnership ideas.
• Handle external/partner creative and influencer asset routes. Review, flag, and provide feedback for social media content representing the ViacomCBS brands on partner owned social platforms.
• Develop and maintain CP social and influencer standard methodologies that support the vision of each brand/networks goals and creative aesthetic and platform guidelines.
• Assist in administrative tasks as needed including reporting between network social teams, budget management including raising PO's, invoicing, maintaining budget documents and trackers, generating recaps.
• Stay up to date on the latest social trends, capabilities, and innovation to apply to CP social strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of experience working in social media, paid media, and/or influencer.
Additional Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge and proficiency working across all social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
• Creative/design experience preferred to develop/edit social image and video assets as needed.
• Self-starter with hands-on approach and strong organizational skills!
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and easily adjust to shifting priorities.
