Overview and Responsibilities
• Track POS data through retail to inform lines of business and other partners on Nickelodeon product performance
• Communicate with lines of business on product launches, retail placement, timing and related promotions
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
• Become an industry guide in the categories assigned (e.g. CPG, home, apparel, toys and accessories), showing an understanding of market dynamics, top players, main retail channels, price points, etc.
• Combine diverse data sources (syndicated data, proprietary data, primary data, etc.) into actionable and digestible insights that help drive sales and product development
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insights to key partners regarding consumers, their behaviors and the competitive landscape
• Concisely summarize data to build compelling analyses and engaging presentations
• Work with internal operations team and/or vendors to check for data accuracy and quality
• Continually assist with optimizing the data management and reporting processes, implementing changes where applicable
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree, required
• 3 years of experience interpreting data and communicating findings to senior leaders
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and business intelligence tools in data heavy environments
• Knowledge of platforms such as Nielsen AOD, IRI, and/or NPD Decision Key, preferred
• Experience with COGNOS, Micro-strategy, Tableau, and other business analytics tools a plus

• Strong aptitude and critical thinking flexibility for working with large sets of quantitative data and extracting relevant points
