Location Based Experiences Account Director, Uknee
Job Summary
To provide strategic oversight and development of Viacom’s Location Based Experiences business in the UKNEE cluster.
Key Responsibilities
• Source new business development opportunities in the UKNEE cluster for the LBE department, to include: VIMN branded resorts, theme parks, attractions, cruises, exhibitions, live stage tours and other experiences
• Ongoing account management of LBE’s partnerships in the UKNEE cluster, to include: internal/external communication, recurring calls, coordinating annual meetings and enforcement of contractual provisions
• Collaborate with the Nickelodeon Creative Resources (NCR) and Orlando based Nickelodeon Experience Design (NED) creative teams in the creative development process that supports Nickelodeon’s creative goals and meets the partner’s objectives
• Collaborate with the VIMN/Nickelodeon Brand team and work with partners to develop robust marketing programs and merchandise programs that tap existing licensed product lines as well as create new custom merchandise
• Guide, manage and track all financial royalty reporting and forecasting
• Work in close coordination with the international channels and cluster to ensure territory specific goals, in the UKNEE cluster are achieved for LBE, the channel and partners
• Route marketing submissions for internal approval by NCR, brand marketing, legal, standards (as well as Orlando creative teams as necessary)
• Route all press related submissions to VIMN press and marketing teams
• Provide approval for partner’s program concepts (i.e. themed months, character events, descriptions, URL registrations, etc.)
• Provide creative assets (via NCR, Orlando team, programming, or Nick Central)
• Present sponsorship related opportunities to partners and provide feedback to integrated marketing; Maintain and update promotions calendar
• Oversee delivery of ancillary media assets (i.e. TV spots or email blasts)
• Engage research to provide consumer insight as needed to support the business
• Reports to the global head of LBE on all matters related to new business development opportunities and associated efforts
• Also reports to UKNEE COO for all matters related to partnerships and business opportunities in the cluster
• Any other duties assigned by Head of Global Head of LBE
Role-specific skills/attributes
• Prior experience of working for an animated Kids properties/media company is desirable.
• Prior experience working within the leisure and hospitality industry is desirable.
