International Finance Analyst - 6 month FTC (ASAP)
This role is responsible for providing financial management and business support to the centrally led Location based experiences (LBE) business. The Analyst's responsibilities include financial planning and analysis including preparation of departmental budgets, revenue forecasts and regional allocations, producing monthly financial reporting (P&L, B/S), performing day-to-day financial accounting duties as required and ensuring a strong internal control environment is maintained at all times.
The role includes:
• Responsible for business support and financial management for the LBE business, requiring close interaction with budget owners to provide timely and comprehensive financial information.
• Preparing monthly reporting, including P&L and Balance Sheet analysis with detailed commentary on variances to budget and forecasts
• Taking ownership of allocation process to the regions, providing periodic analysis, communication and provision of analysis to FDs and cluster finance teams, and fielding cluster queries.
• Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Maintain an update to date list of all contracts, and support invoicing process
• Adherence to internal and external reporting deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in a finance related role.
• Supporting the wider team with adhoc projects.
• Provide team holiday and sickness cover as necessary.
• Be an ambassador for all VCNI channels, internally and externally.

What skills do you need:
• Educated to degree level, with a professional accountancy qualification.
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Experience working with large volumes of financial information, big data, building financial reports from scratch is a bonus
• Systems experience in data extraction
• Shown understanding of financial accounting & financial statement analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Results-oriented with ability to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast paced environment to achieve desired results.
• Positive outlook and ambition to progress within finance.
• Inspired by a challenge.
• Forecasting/ BI knowledge is desireable
