Who you are:
Are you keen to support on some really exciting projects within Recruitment and Diversity & Inclusion? Can you see yourself coming up with ideas and creating social content to help us attract the best diverse talent in the media industry? Do you love delving into data to make sense of the figures and what they mean?
Our Talent Acquisition Manager and Director, Global Inclusion Strategy are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Intern to come in and work with them on a variety of really exciting projects, across some of the best brands in TV.
We are constantly on the look out to recruit and nurture the most creative, talented and diverse people in the industry and you will be key in helping us to achieve that! You will be involved in everything from using social media platforms to raise awareness of our brands from a talent attraction perspective, to finding job boards that will reach the right candidates. You will be a whiz with data and keen to learn more about Google analytics and social media analytics. You will love systems and will become the guru when it comes to our Application Tracking System (iCIMS).
You will be a true Brand Ambassador for all of the brands within VIMN and will champion our Viacom Talent social media pages along with our Employee Resource Groups who support our Employees from all different demographics, backgrounds and interests. You will be bursting with creative ideas and inspiration on how to attract the best talent as well as helping to constantly improve our processes. This will involve anything from taking photos and filming internal events, creating content for our Viacom Talent blog and thinking of creative ways to showcase life at Viacom.
A big part of your role will be maintaining great relationships with the leadership teams of our Employee Resource Groups as well as organising regular D&I internal events which can involve anything from creating the artwork for the posters to advertise the event, through to ordering the catering and arranging for external speakers to attend.
Being super organised will come naturally to you, as will the ability to deal with a fast pace of work and a quick turnaround with deadlines. You will be keen to build great relationships across the business as well as with external suppliers.
You aren’t precious about the remits of your job description and you’ll love rolling your sleeves up to support the team wherever possible, because you love the exposure and diversity that brings.
This is a super varied role with exposure to all aspects of the business. You’ll build a fantastic foundation of Recruitment and D&I skills & experiences which will in turn be CV & career boosting.
This is a new position, so you will be able to come in and make this role your own, while working within a fun, talented, friendly and supportive HR team.
You don’t need a degree to apply and we understand that you may not have experience in all of the areas on the job description, so what we are looking for is passion, enthusiasm and a desire to learn all there is to know about in-house recruitment and Diversity and Inclusion.
