Full Time Job
HR Consultant (5 month FTC)
Reporting directly to the VP HR, the HR Consultant will provide high level, commercial advice on the full range of generalist HR issues over a range of client groups within the business.
Please note this role is offered as a 5 month Fixed Term Contract with a start date between 16th - 23rd March 2020.
Organisational Development
Support structural change initiatives by the provision of expert HR advice on the structures required to meet the business needs and the process to be followed to manage the change.
Employee Relations
Provide advice and guidance on ER issues in line with company disciplinary and grievance procedures and commercial risk. Ensure accurate and timely process in respect of preparation, investigation, attendance at meetings, follow up and ongoing monitoring of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Recruitment & Selection
Oversee the recruitment process and ensure that advice and support to line managers is provided on the most effective methods of recruitment and best practice in recruitment, ensuring that the processes are consistently adhered to, including the correct authorisation procedure prior to recruitment.
Learning & Development
Provision of professional advice and support to line management in relation to the application of the company performance management systems.
Project Management
Undertake and deliver projects as required with focus on new HR initiatives.
What skills do you need?
• Excellent employment law knowledge. Ability to manage complex ER cases autonomously.
• Previous experience partnering multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience working within a creative business.
• A strong team player.
• Proven ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders
• A true generalist who is not afraid to ‘roll up their sleeves’
