Overview and Responsibilities
Take a lead role managing operations for Global Content Licensing (GCL)! This includes operational oversight of (i) current and future new content licensing initiatives with distribution partners such as Amazon, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock, Netflix globally (ii) managing operational, marketing and branding contractual obligations (iii) business solutions and the associated business processes required by GCL as part of the integration of operational systems across CBS, Paramount, Showtime and Viacom. For success in this role, candidates should possess strong strategic planning, project management and problem-solving skills, as well as sound analytical, communication, and people management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Partnering with the EVP on team leadership and strategic thinking to identify, prioritize, design and implement initiatives to achieve team and department goals.
• Leading the operational aspects of GCL’s current new media objectives with existing distribution partners.
• Leading the on-boarding process of new distribution partners in order to ensure a seamless transition to the day-to-day activity pipeline.
• Providing operational guidance at all stages of the deal life-cycle to teams, such Sales, Corporate Strategy, Marketing and Legal.
• Partnering with the Marketing team to ensure any operational/marketing deliverables such as branding, bumpers etc. are fulfilled across distribution partners.
• Developing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to support the planning and execution of strategic goals.
• Thoroughly assessing new business opportunities from an operational standpoint (both qualitatively and quantitatively) and building business plans to support entry.
• Business process management, including fostering a culture of continuous improvement, evaluating operational processes and procedures, developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations.
Basic Qualifications
• 5-7 years in a manager business operations role, within the media or technology industry.
• BA/BS Degree from top university/college.
• Experience with operational functions and processes applicable to this role, which may include linear and non-linear content delivery, advanced advertising principles and business process improvement.

• Ability to think and plan strategically with a business focus, while taking account of technical and operational constraints.
