Overview
In the Retail & Ecommerce marketing team, we are looking for a Director to lead Ecommerce Marketing, who will manage US online marketing initiatives, including the online marketing calendar, paid media, third party partnerships, merchandising, and analytics in order to drive the business and deliver sales to support key ViacomCBS Consumer Products franchises. In this role, the Director will be the point person for their counterparts on the Sales Team and will have a hand in all aspects of bringing Marketing programs to life, with a focus on Amazon. This person will work hand in hand with each level of the Retail & eCommerce Marketing and Sales Team touching ideation, asset development, project management, timelines, organization, and presentation development. The Director needs to have an understanding of how to drive ecommerce sales through marketing programs specifically with retail partners. An analytical and strategic problem solver is required to balance program planning and execution with post program reporting. It is imperative that this person have very strong collaborative relationship proficiencies and thinks 'omni channel.'
Responsibilities
• Develop eCommerce marketing strategy for Amazon and other eCommerce accounts supporting a broad portfolio of franchises and cross-category product placement
• Contribute to all phases of marketing program development to drive consumer product sales at Amazon
• Support the Retail Sales team with marketing strategies, presentation materials and seamless execution of programs
• Lead the overall customer experience for ecommerce marketing campaigns, using performance data to optimize the journey and drive conversion
• Coordinate execution of campaigns on Amazon Advertising platform, included but not limited to oversight of yearlong search and media campaign budget, and regular timely reporting
• Partner with key stake holders such as Franchise Planning, Retail Development, and Global Creative Group to guide the development of marketing campaign presentations for both short- and long-term plans
• Work with key eCommerce retail contacts to unlock new marketing opportunities and partnerships behind ViacomCBS Consumer Products biggest marketing programs, continuing to bring value and disrupt shoppers
• Align and partner with key licensees and 3rd party partners to develop high-impact marketing campaigns driving to Amazon
• Manage global eCommerce marketing share with other territories outside of US
• Management of the eCommerce marketing budget by ensuring that all budget updates are submitted as and when required
• Lead other team projects as needed, outside of his/her key accounts, including multi-platform media campaigns, promotional events, presentations, etc.
• Manager and coordinator management and development (mentoring, training and coaching for career growth within the organization)
Basic Qualifications
• 8 years' experience in ecommerce, consumer products, marketing or related field required
• Bachelor's degree OR applicable dynamic experience in retail, marketing, creative agency, licensing, consumer products fields may be considered in lieu of education
• Experience managing campaigns in the Amazon Advertising platform ideal

• Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations
• Communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
• Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources. Strong knowledge of cross team collaboration
• Good judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of process and strategy
• Strong understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as project management, idea creation, and cross-team efficiency
• Demonstrated leadership in encouraging continuous learning, empowerment, involvement, and opportunities
• Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making, and motivate others, especially during difficult situations
• Clear strategic vision combined with actions that are defined and executed with urgency
