The Director will manage headcount and compensation planning for domestic operations. This is a highly visible leadership role and must be able to work collaboratively across the organization engaging with executives from Human Resources (HR), Business Operating Groups, and Finance. The candidate must be a finance domain specialist on compensation expense, providing key leadership in compensation planning, reporting, analysis, and metrics.
Responsibilities:
• Financial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations
• Use various financial systems to forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount related to monthly/quarterly closes, periodic forecasting, annual budgeting process, and long range planning
• Provide leadership team with information and insights to better plan and manage labor workforce
• Partner with HR to align headcount reporting and related expenses to organizational changes
• Maintain strong working relationship with various partners in HR, Finance, and Business Operating groups
• Participate in the testing of new system rollouts and enhancements
• Represent the Compensation COE on various initiatives that impact headcount and compensation planning, reporting, and analytics
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area
• 7 years of financial planning & analysis, reporting and accounting related experience
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
Additional Qualifications:
• Able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues or information
• Proven ability to work under pressure, perform efficiently, handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrate expertise in financial planning (i.e., TM1, Longview) and general ledger (i.e., SAP, Oracle) systems
• Strive to identify process improvement opportunities and propose suggestions
• Possess the ability to take initiative and follow through to complete tasks on time
• Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to contextualize data effectively and efficiently
• Able to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Team player who fosters a spirit of collaboration
