The Addressable Partnerships & Development team is accountable for ViacomCBS's addressable TV partnerships and capabilities across Linear, STB VOD and addressable technologies such as OAR, ATSC3, and fingerprinting. The Senior Director of Partnerships will report to the team VP and be accountable for overall partnership account management, post-deal project management, implementation, addressable utilization and partnership health tracking and reporting. In addition, this role will identify and prioritize partnership enhancements and will work across both internal and external teams to define and implement.
Key internal partner teams include: Vantage advanced TV, US Distribution, Business & Legal Affairs, advanced marketing & media, broadcast engineering and operations, ad technology, ad operations, trade communications & marketing, and more…
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on business, ops and technical aspects of addressable deal terms and business development.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish partnership implementation roadmap and execution plan. Directly project manage addressable partnership implementations.
• Own account management to ensure partnership health and overall deal performance.
• Manage vendor and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements and continuous operational improvement.
• Track, report and advocate to ensure addressable capability is utilized to its maximum potential and value.
• Work to deepen relationships with ViacomCBS's partners in the addressable tech ecosystem.
• Elevate the profile of ViacomCBS in the marketplace by positively representing our vision and capabilities across the marketplace.
Qualifications:
• Experience managing complex partnerships which include business, technical, operational and service level components.
• Highly developed account and relationship management skills to build strong and successful long-term partnerships.
• Excellent presentation skills to support both internal and external conversations in coordination with Sales, Distribution, Technology, etc…
• You should be familiar with and conversant in addressable technologies such as: SCTE markers, video fingerprinting, watermarking, Project OAR, digital ad servers, ad targeting, ID and data matching, etc…
• A working understanding of how TV signals are distributed and the transmission route from broadcast center to the household.
• A working understanding of campaign level aspects of advanced and addressable TV, including target audience selection, segmentation, campaign criteria, KPIs, creative approval, delivery, pacing, measurement and attribution.
• Familiarity with the broader ad-tech ecosystem and ad sales landscape, and the role addressable TV plays.
• Demonstrated success in partnering with and coordinating multiple groups to achieve business outcomes.
