As a member of the ViacomCBS Podcast team, the Department Assistant will be getting in from the beginning with the team responsible for building out the ViacomCBS podcasting ecosystem! We are looking for an inquisitive, passionate self-starter excited to help support and grow the business. This assistant will support the SVP, Podcasts and general podcast team!
Responsibilities
• Coordinate a high volume of internal and external meetings, appointments, offsites, presentations, business meals
• Provide administrative support for the SVP including phones, scheduling, shipping, travel, expenses, and general organization
• Answer all incoming telephone calls: screening, prioritizing and relaying messages to SVP
• Book transportation, accommodations and reservations for domestic and international business travel
• Prepare, submit, and file T&E reports
• Print any required documents for meetings and assist with all tech needs (ie. video conference, presentations, agendas and take notes when needed) as well as logistical coordination
• Troubleshoot all technical difficulties (i.e. printer, computer, telephone, iPhone, & iPad)
• Maintain confidentiality of documents, plans, information and situations
• Assist with special projects
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1 year administration experience internship exp? yes
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with strong PowerPoint / design skills a plus
Additional Qualifications
• Interpersonal skills are a must as the position requires establishing relationships with internal departments across brands and external business partners
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ideal candidate will possess initiative, be respectful and flexible in a fast-paced environment
