Branded Programming & Influence (BP&I) Creative is a high energy, idea generating machine within the ViacomCBS Digital Integrated Marketing division, focusing on concepting custom influencer marketing campaigns. We collaborate directly with the BP I Pitch and Activation teams throughout the pre and post-sale process, functioning as internal and external-facing copywriters, social media and influencer marketing experts.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Copywriter/Manager will primarily focus on the development of social-first, talent-led custom content ideas that are programmed for the platform, performance-driven and innovative. The ideal candidate is someone who can own their creative programs as they continue to develop their skills and experience as a creative director and leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop creative, sharp and effective ideas for clients spanning every category in response to RFPs, effectively marketing brand partners in partnership with influential talent
• Understand the brand voice and tone of our partners, and develop creative that is consistent with the client's brand guidelines
• Pitch creative ideas in external client meetings
• Lead campaigns autonomously below $500K, and contribute to $500K campaigns with Creative Director oversight.
• Work closely with BP&I Production to calculate feasibility, budget and timing throughout a campaign from initial stages of the RFP to program Wrap
• Collaborate with BP&I Activation and Production throughout the post-sale phase to develop the final creative treatment, addressing client feedback and ensuring satisfaction
• Interface with internal stakeholders and external clients on-set, anticipating creative challenges/roadblocks, and subsequently identifying solutions.
• Develop cross-departmental relationships to enhance and strengthen the team's creative output
• Stay informed on changes across the social media landscape and the influencer marketing industry to ensure ideas are timely, relevant and first-to-market
• Exceptional writing, storytelling and communication skills, and keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
• Experience with influencers and/or talent a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently while communicating and collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Expertise in digital married to an informed perspective on the overall social media landscape, trends, consumption habits, and challenges. Knowledge of TV capabilities is a plus.
• Comfortable joining client phone meetings/calls to speak to or present ideas and solutions crafted
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 3 years of creative experience (marketing, production company, media company, etc.)
• 2 years production experience
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Exceptional writing, storytelling and communication skills, and keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
• Experience with influencers and/or talent a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently while communicating and collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Expertise in digital married to an informed perspective on the overall social media landscape, trends, consumption habits, and challenges. Knowledge of TV capabilities is a plus.
