Role:
The Community & Audience Engagement Manager will encourage, activate, and champion fan communities across Nickelodeon and AwesomenessTV brands. This dynamic role will lead the Audience Engagement strategy and Community Development across all YouTube channels within the portfolio and work collaboratively with a variety of teams.
Our ideal candidate is an organized, highly creative, data-driven content creator, familiar with YouTube standard methodologies, and has a consistent record of developing audiences and growing engagement on social platforms! You should possess strong copywriting skills and the ability to produce gif, thumbnails, short-form video and other content targeting the Gen-Z audience.
This candidate will help drive and establish community engagement Key Performance Indicators, and coordinate closely with all programming calendars, creative teams, audience development, analytics and our YouTube partners. This role would also work closely with the brand integration teams to optimize and amplify campaigns through community engagement tools.

Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations (posting, commenting, moderating) and long-term audience growth strategies.
• Develop, implement, measure, and translate community feedback/sentiment for key partners, ensuring Creative teams and Audience Development receive important insights for content development through regular reporting.
• Scale creative audience engagement activities across the portfolio with a keen focus on growing engagement rates in the larger YouTube ecosystem through increased outreach to YouTube/Social influencers with overlapping audiences.
• Direct and collaborate with producers/designers on YouTube Shorts, YouTube Stories, Thumbnails or future community engagement features.
• Coordinate and/or build social-friendly memes, graphics/assets, or viral content.
• Copywriting post captions, comments, thumbnails and video text in brand's voice.
• Engage with fans on livestream encouraging real-time conversation.
• Moderate comments to police harmful content and mitigate brand safety threats.
• Collaborate with Audience Development to define editorial voice guidelines and implement standard methodologies.
• Use Content Management Systems to operationalize forward-looking community management calendars that highlight key opportunities, special sweepstakes, brand integrations, social media content alignments, and more.
• Spearhead special social initiatives and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years experience handling or growing Social/YouTube communities or crafting interactive content for a media entertainment company or digital agency.
• Strong copywriting and creative writing skills.
• Experience in Content Management Systems.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud - moderate skill level with Photoshop, Adobe Premiere.
