Overview and Responsibilities

We are a leading innovative advertising organization that delivers the advertising revenue across all Viacom media brands using cutting-edge research, data, partner marketing, and sales strategy approaches. We work creatively across all media platforms – TV, digital, social, experiential/ live events, emerging platforms; and all audiences – from young kids with the Nickelodeon brands, to Millennials with brands like MTV and Comedy Central; as well fans of TV Land.
As the Analyst, we will work together across multiple divisions to seek for, develop and pitch new partnership opportunities, aligning with our highly focused approach, process and output. Specifically, you will support a NY-based Ad Sales New Business team, inclusive of VPs, a Director and AEs, in selling paid advertising time across multiple platforms, crafting compelling, customized pitches, performing detailed research and analysis to aid the team in better identifying prospective clients.
• You will support the New Business sales team in prospecting, researching, pitching and breaking new business via the following:
• You will disseminate relevant account news (i.e. daily trade, press, brand promotions, earnings reports, annual reports, industry events, conferences, competitive tracking, etc.)
• You will identify new leads and maintain prospecting pipeline through industry research, trend-spotting and review of daily trade
• You will prepare client prep documents including client overview, spending, key people to know, notable partnerships, press and marketplace creative analysis
• You will participate in internal brainstorm sessions including disseminating meeting notes, filling out RFPs, following up with team on next steps
• You will provide administrative support (travel, expenses, meeting prep, catering, calendar management) for the NY based team
• You will assist SSEs and VPs in the creation of pitch presentations that effectively communicate the partnership opportunities to prospective clients including pulling research, identifying creative approaches to slides and formatting
• You will maintain event lists (i.e. Upfront, etc), participate in light event planning and dedicatedly maintain client outreach when appropriate (i.e., client gifts for births, weddings, engagements, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree
• You have 1-2 years of brand marketing, advertising, agency or digital media experience
• You are highly skilled in PowerPoint development (able to build slides and story line)
• Fluent in Excel

• Well organized with the ability to prioritize actions, deadlines, and anticipate solutions
• Proven excellent social, communication, written & presentation skills
• Interest in strategic, partnership-oriented sales and business development
