Is this the role for you?
This is a varied role that will support the PMO leadership in reporting, communication, documentation, and a variety of administrative tasks. He / She must have impeccable administrative skills, attention to detail and be proactive and eager to learn. This person must have experience of working within a PMO. He / She must have excellent skills on Jira, Confluence, and advance skills in Excel (V-Look Ups & Pivot tables). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This person should have a good working knowledge of digital streaming.
What will you be doing?
• Manage and coordinate the administrative aspects of the PMO team.
• Provide high quality administrative and project support to the PMO leadership
• Set up and coordinate an Impediments Review Board.
• Build detailed and efficient documentation and confluence pages to be shared at all levels
• Manage and improve our status reporting process, tools and artifacts to communicate the status of key projects
• Provide project updates and reports via Jira, Jira Structure, Excel, and any other tracking tool.
• Monitor and analyse information to effectively manage key project controls, including RAID, milestones, finance, change control, etc
• Implement and uphold clear governance structures and processes across the team.
• Assist the PMO team to plan, execute and finalise change initiatives across the organization. This will include document management, planning, risk and coordinating efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan.
• Ability to communicate and work with product owners, developers, and change managers to ensure all epics and stories meet corporate standards.
What are we looking for?
Expert knowledge in Jira/Confluence:
• Must be proficient with Atlassian tools and their ecosystems.
• Ideally comfortable with complex JQL and queries
• Ideally good understanding of workflows
• Experience in project set up or definition within Jira is highly desirable.
Excel/Gsheet/Reporting:
• Advanced knowledge of formulas
• Good knowledge of VBA or GScript
• Experience with building reports, tracking and analysing data and data sets
• Experience of working in a project management or PMO team
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and other Agile frameworks and software engineering practices, as well as traditional project management approaches
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and meeting facilitation skills (including with an executive audience)
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to identify and solve issues
• Experience managing projects within a media company and/or in an online business's environment
• Experience as a program manager and/or scrum-of-scrum driving program-level, global, matrix projects to deadlines, in direct-to-consumer entertainment or media products
• Other Reporting and task management experience with PPM tools such as: Miro, Jira Align (Agile Craft), Aha!, Planview, Tableau, Google Tables, or Google Data Studio
• Jira Project Administration certification
• PMP Certification or similar Program/Project Management certification
• Dev Ops experience
• Experience with Content Management Systems, Publishing Systems, Digital Media sites development, video and/or knowledge of advertising concepts (traditional and/or online
• Basic proficiency and general understanding of standard development software
