Overview:
The Manager, Marketing Strategist is responsible for partnering across the Nickelodeon Marketing organization and will act as the central point of contact across senior team projects, providing clear and concise planning and communication in order to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.
They will be a key partner to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Senior Vice President, Brand and Content Strategy acting as a critical strategic support function for the Marketing Department, similar to a Chief of Staff. The Manager, Marketing Strategy will be responsible for the development of strategic support materials including internal and external research, data synthesis, and insight development and presentation decks drafts. The right candidate will be a compelling storyteller with an expertise in conducting analyses, gathering data to support hypotheses and building persuasive narratives for senior executives.
They will also help the Chief Marketing Officer maintain a healthy organization and optimize operations and cross-organizational processes. The manager will be responsible for partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer and supporting the executive team on the development of culture. They will build and retain trust and positive relationships with executives and other partners to foster collaboration and alignment throughout the organization, and will serve as the primary conduit between the Chief Marketing Officer and all partners to ensure clear communication.
This role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and organizational skills. They need an eye for business, storytelling and writing prowess, interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work across a dynamic team and learn about many facets of the Nickelodeon Marketing organization.
Responsibilities
include and are not limited to:
• Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to help the marketing organization meet near term objectives, and long-term goals.
• Cross functional liaison â€'' serve as liaison to marketing groups with focus on Information cascade and problem solving. Drive cross functional company wide projects by providing clear articulation of business goals and analytical rigor, facilitating collaboration with multiple teams, and strategically managing project scope and implementation.
• Develop operational foundations for long term planning with executive team.
• Facilitate weekly executive meetings, monthly staff meetings, and quarterly offsites to help drive implementation of cross-departmental initiatives.
• Handle logistics around external events, speaking engagements and internal offsites.
• Strategic thought partner - act as thought partner and ear to the ground for the Chief Marketing Officer, surface issues, roadblock, and concerns from the organization.
• Support the Senior Vice President, Brand and Content Strategy in building campaign and strategy decks for executive and partner meetings.
• Synthesize information, take notes on, and gather data for decks.
• Understand business goals and objectives of each project and ensure strategies are accurate and are in line with agreed-upon objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships within Nickelodeon as well as all related groups across the Paramount universe.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, project management, marketing planning, or integrated production at an entertainment brand/ or agency, or consulting group.
• Experience working with senior leadership in a highly matrixed organization.
• BA required

• Demonstrated organized self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks thoughtfully and see the big picture.

• Experience with video creative and digital creative.
• Ability to manage and work with a large creative team.
• Familiarity and facility with project management, presentation, and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, AirTable, Jira, Google Docs/Slides/SharePoint, Slack) or similar.
