Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer initially offered as a 6 month contract (with the potential for extension of FTC or conversion to perm), is a key role in the UK Programming leadership team, reporting directly to the EVP of programming. The role is responsible for driving creative excellence across ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) and developing new and innovative ways to shape the voice and identity of our brands across our channels! This exciting opportunity will need an ambitious and passionate leader to build brands which can’t be ignored, brands that stand out in the crowd and convert light viewers to loyal viewers. This strategic role will not only see opportunities to increase ratings, reputation and revenue, challenge the status quo in driving innovation, but will be a motivational leader driving collaboration across the Creative, PR, Media Planning, Social media and Marketing functions.
What skills do you need
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a team to deliver in a fast-paced environment and champion creativity as well as drive business results
• Ability to create campaigns designed to deliver on business goals and present clear, strategic plans to senior management
• Ability to build a media strategy based on informed interpretation of data
• Shown experience in building and maintaining brand value and integrity and marrying a brand with a customer focused approach
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of intellect and emotional intelligence. Ability to collaborate, win hearts and mind and balance
• Have a perspective and credibility in influencing leaders on technology which underpins digital and performance marketing to achieve an optimal solution
• Be agile, comfortable at pace, inclusive, and enabling
