Full Time Paid Internship
• Build business cases and define feature requirements for new features
• Attend scrum team ceremonies (grooming, planning, standups, story writing, and prioritization)
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and partners to implement and manage product releases; direct QA efforts; and to grow ongoing third party relationships
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to become knowledgeable about the customer, their habits, and their needs
• Develop a roadmap for proposed features
• Build cross-functional relationships and work through contending priorities with ease
• Operate both independently and as part of a broader team; balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment
• Work to meet agreed upon time frames/target dates with the scrum team and PMO partners
• Get first hand experience socializing and presenting your work to other teams
• Learn about Viacom's streaming business by interacting with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, business development, legal, etc)
• Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Your Day-to-Day:
Product Managers are responsible for managing an Agile development scrum team and backlog that supports and develops enhancements to our Connected Television technology platform. This role offers significant value to the organization by maximizing the power of our streaming platform to support the many products and services that are built upon it. Since our product management team is so foundational to our business, this role brings executional skill and a mastery of balancing multiple priorities that strengthens the stability, performance and capabilities of our platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
• Comfortable drafting detailed product requirements from user stories to Product Requirement Documents
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to team members of all levels
• Passionate about user experience and mobile and connected TV (Roku, FireTV, Apple tvOS etc) platforms
• Knowledgeable about tech and product standard methodologies
• A passion for TV and a knowledge of the streaming marketplace
• High standards and a history of driving projects through to completion
• Proactiveness to take ownership and run with a challenge
• An ability to dive into data in order to develop thoughtful recommendations to complex challenges

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Business School

• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
