Full Time Job
The VMS Distribution team handles all operational needs for multiplatform distribution. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated and dedicated individual to join our team. You will support the Manager and Director with high level departmental goals, complex onboarding initiatives, and implementing and updating processes. You will be responsible for coordinating project based work; troubleshooting issues as needed with junior staff; and bringing those issues as well as suggestions for change to managers.
Key Responsibilities
• You will be supporting our internal customers, including Viacom’s brands, and business teams to help ensure that processes, workflows and deliveries are as transparent as possible
• Supporting our external customers and partners at an intermediate level to help resolve larger issues or answer complex questions, especially related to onboarding processes
• Coordinating and facilitating onboarding and backfill deliveries to ensure workload is even and delivery obligations are met
• You will manage cross network and platform tasks to ensure all processes are done completely, correctly and on time
• Organizing and filtering information to team by troubleshooting, ensuring consistency in process, and calling out issues as needed
• Coordinating complex workflows or issues with affiliates, distributors, partners, and internally
• Managing special projects and communication as needed to support internal departments, affiliates, and digital initiatives
• Updating, organizing and building documentation of standard processes and procedures to help align all in-flight distribution deals
Basic Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, deadline driven environment
Additional Qualifications
• Strong social, written and communication skills to work with various networks, departments, and levels of management
• Great teammate and quick learner with the ability to prioritize workload
• Knowledge of file based distribution, scheduling and/or content management systems a plus
• Customer service experience a plus
