VIACOM & WHOSAY are looking for a smart, organized, creative, and strategic minded marketing professional to support our Ad Solution Pitch Team. Sitting inside Viacom, we create unique, progressive advertising campaigns unlike any other company, and offer the opportunity to create brand new products from ideation to activation.
This is a great opportunity for a content marketing professional with branded content, communication strategy, and / or agency experience. You will report directly to the Director of Ad Solutions and be responsible for creating best-in-class influencer led marketing campaigns that can both stand alone and integrate into the great Viacom Ad Solution offering.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic fast paced environment, bring energy and passion to everything they do, and will not be afraid to learn new skills and roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects both big and small. This job is based in our NYC offices, and we offer competitive compensation packages.
Responsibilities
• Respond to RFPs, packaging together compelling Talent driven social media strategies & campaigns – crafting proposals across all advertising categories (auto, CPG, food & beverage, entertainment, beauty, etc.)
• Lead pitches through completion, including brainstorming and ideation, content and brand strategy, writing of proposal/presentations, and aiding the Sales team in successfully selling ideas (includes live pitching and over the phone)
• Oversee the combination of the right idea, Talent recommendation, distribution strategy, and budget breakdown – working in tandem with our Talent, Production, and Media teams throughout the RFP process
Partner with Creative Directors and Creative Leads to convert the output of creative brainstorms into fully fleshed integrated marketing plans
• Own and build integrated budgets – responsible for factoring Talent, production, media, and margin
• Liaise with Sales and the greater Viacom Ad Solution teams on partner pitches and co-branded offerings
Strong visual Keynote skills and PowerPoint skills, ensuring ideas are communicated effectively and consistently to our clients
• Engage internal departments and outside vendors to develop successful new products and marketing programs
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline; major in marketing/advertising or communications a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years related work experience and familiarity with branded content, social media, influence marketing, and television and entertainment industries
Additional Qualifications
• Knowledge and deep understanding of content strategy, brand briefs, and RFP process
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills
• Strong integrated marketing vernacular and professional writing requiring absolute minimal proofing
• High proficiency with Keynote and PowerPoint
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented team player with ability to successfully multitask and meet demanding deadlines
• Enthusiastic and interested in expanding understanding of the advertising landscape (content marketing, social, audience targeting, etc.)
• Take initiative, anticipate team needs and bring solutions to streamline workflow
