This is a Full Time Job
This position is responsible for assisting in the external SEC financial reporting process to ensure financial data has been captured appropriately on Forms 10-K and 10-Q. The position will assist in compiling, reviewing and analyzing financial information and ensuring adequate support is maintained by working closely with Corporate and Divisional personnel.
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Prepare, consolidate and analyze quarterly/annual disclosure schedules and prepare specific sections of the 10-Q/10-K
• Assist in the coordination with the divisional finance and operational teams to obtain financial information for our footnote disclosures; review submissions for reasonableness
• Prepare quarterly weighted average share count calculation for financial statement disclosure and budget purposes
• Assist in XBRL tagging of the 10-K/10-Q
• Track, prepare and/or review U.S. government economic and census surveys the Company is required to complete; review submissions for reasonableness and accuracy
• Prepare a tie-out for accuracy of our quarterly earnings press release, presentations, and SEC filings (8-K/10-Q/10-K)
• Assist external auditors by providing SEC filing tie-out support requests and prepare analyses addressing inquiries
• Assist with ad hoc Viacom Senior management requests and financial reporting projects and analyses
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years of public accounting or industry-relevant experience
• CPA required

• Prior Big Four experience a plus
• Prior entertainment & media experience a plus
• MS Office experience
• Experience with SAP and/or HFM a plus
