The Viacom Corporate Digital Analytics team has an exciting opportunity for potential candidates who have a passion for media and curiosity for audience insights. The Digital Analyst will support Viacom’s internal teams (i.e. finance, senior management, etc.) through quantitative analyses of Viacom’s digital performance across brands (i.e., Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon). This individual will compile and analyze internal and third-party data from numerous sources and will need to provide actionable and succinct insights.
Responsibilities:
• Handle team’s monthly scheduled reports which includes pulling data, organizing reports and writing up analysis
• Work on weekly ad hoc requests to support multiple internal stakeholders from different groups
• Compile industry intelligence and competitive information from external syndicated sources
• Provide support to team by pitching in on cross-team initiatives
• Stay up to date on Viacom brands and digital product, strategy, reporting, and audience consumption changes
• Attend and participate in team meetings and stakeholder meetings
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher. Preferred candidates have a degree apt for quantitative research such as: economics, business, mathematics, psychology and sociology
• 1-2 years of related research experience

• Analytical with the ability to think strategically
• Able to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively
• High level of interest in the process of transforming data into actionable insights
• Strong computer skills, specifically with excel and power point
• Prior experience using syndicated research (e-marketer, comScore) and/or analytical tools (adobe, google analytics) a plus
• Experience using data query tools (Access, SQL, etc.) or coding language (R, python) a plus
