Partnership Manager

MaxPreps is hiring a Partnership Manager, an upbeat and motivated individual to help develop and manage the day-to-day interaction and relationships with MaxPreps' state association partners and key stakeholders within those states. To have success in this role, one will be able to work independently and communicate and market the MaxPreps mission and the technology available to state association partners. This position will work effectively across multiple internal company departments to advise on association needs and industry trends.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Be the lead advocate for MaxPreps with assigned state association partners and ensure contractual obligations and outcomes
• Develop and maintain working relationships with senior leaders at assigned state association partners
• Market and promote MaxPreps products and utilities to state association personnel, coaches and athletic directors in assigned states
• Grow ''data density'' as a result of developing and maintaining those relationships with state association personnel
• Provide customer support to coaches and administrators in assigned states
• Utilize data analytics to measure data contributions and growth, and adjust communication and marketing methods accordingly
• Coordinate with senior management and product/engineering departments on necessary product needs, updates and fixes
• Advise senior management of emerging trends and competition in the high school sports eco-system

Key Projects:
• Help expand the MaxPreps brand and footprint in the high school sports eco-system
• Establish and build dependency on MaxPreps data, services and utilities
• Collaborate regularly with internal departments about improving MaxPreps services and utilities
• Team-based approach and support for MaxPreps market strategy and data growth
• Help develop and implement partnerships with industry vendors

You have -
• Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentation and public speaking skills, a plus)
• Multitasking skills in a collaborative environment, sometimes under tight deadlines
• Customer-service oriented approach to building consensus and dealing with issues
• Ability to travel periodically to industry events, coach clinics and state association offices
• Comfort with a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed
• Proficient with Google Office Suite, data analytics tools, web-based meeting software and content management systems

You might also have -
• Knowledge of high school sports and industry companies
• Previous experience in communications, marketing or public relations
• Bachelor''s degree
