WHAT IS THE ROLE
• This role is an integral position within the marketing team and requires someone with a keen knowledge of broadcasting to continue building on the channels success
• The Marketing assistant will be actively involved in supporting the marketing executive and senior brand manager in the delivery of all aspects of the marketing communications and campaigns across the Viacom adult brands
• The role will work in a support capacity for through-the-line campaigns and other major projects (including delivery of campaign elements, project timelines, budget sheets, WIP reports, presentations, meeting facilitation etc
• Responsible for the delivery of on-air promos
• Ensure all output regarding the channel brand is correct, in line with the marketing guidelines for the channels and communicating key message priorities
• Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all regulations are adhered to in creative
• Assist team in building presentations for key internal and external meetings
• Liaising with production and distribution partners regarding key assets and materials including imagery, footage and copyright
• Liaising and managing the relationships with affiliate partners to ensure they are up to date with channel priorities and highlights
• Embrace the ‘One ViacomCBS’ approach and encourage collaboration and team working
• Be an ambassador for all VCNI channels, internally and externally
• Adopt and promote the ViacomCBS values and support a culture of inclusion
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED
• We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who’s looking to play a pivotal role in the continued evolution of the channel
• The marketing assistant will need to communicate effectively and work closely with a number of internal stakeholders, e.g. creative, PR, digital, Channel Heads and commissioning, as well as external agencies and stakeholders
• The right candidate will be passionate about television and have an interest in some of the biggest shows within the Viacom family
• Have excellent attention to detail across all facets of your work, and able to build a rapport with external clients
• Needs to be confident on working with budgets and keeping accurate records
• Needs to be self-motivated, possess integrity and be able to work autonomously
• Needs to be digitally savvy and full of ideas on how to build on our digital platforms to make them bigger and better!
• At least 1 year of experience of brand and/or content marketing campaigns
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be resourceful, proactive and detail-orientated and able to thrive in a fast- paced environment
• Have outstanding time management
• Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player
• Candidate must be able to use initiative and adapt in an ever changing environment Extensive Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Educated to degree level. CIM qualified and IAB or similar membership desirable, open to alternative higher learning qualifications
