Manager, Program Scheduling - Paramount Network
The Program Scheduling Manager will report to the Sr. Manager of Programming and will also take daily direction from the Sr. Director & VP of Program Scheduling. You will manage and execute operational responsibilities related to the scheduling of Paramount Network Linear Domestic, Canada & Caribbean.
Program Scheduling & Operations Responsibilities:
• Work with Program Scheduling team to execute schedule and revisions to linear program schedules – Domestic, Canada & Caribbean
• Create and update episodic metadata in PTS for originals, acquired series and movies
• Handle scheduling of all acquired series
• Track and maintain Canada and Caribbean movie rights
• Manage monthly movie timings and screen end credits
• Manage network SharePoint site; uploading docs and working with creative on artwork
• Prepare necessary NOC documents and contingency for sports related live events and tentpoles
• Upload high profile events to NOC SharePoint site and update as needed
• Track end credits for all long-form content – originals, acquired series and movies
• Screen, research and create episode schedules for stunts and events
• Download and save all originals & acquisitions deliverables documents to corresponding folders on the shared drive
• Enter & update off-the-clock times in PTS when needed
• Actively participate in user acceptance testing and training for WhatsON scheduling software
• Train interns as needed
Communications Responsibilities:
• Assist Sr. Manager with composing cover email & distributing linear schedules – domestic, Canada & Caribbean - internally and to all listings providers
• Serve as point of contact for listings services & ensure external press listings are accurate and up-to-date for all premieres
• Communicate scheduling information to acquisitions distributors
• During originals premiere cycles, send weekly NOC high profile email(s)
• Maintain program scheduling email distribution lists and SharePoint access
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in film, communications, or media
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program scheduling or research at a cable network
Additional Qualifications
• Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and program scheduling systems (PTS, Wide Orbit, etc.)
