Advertising is being reinvented through big data, audience segmentation tools, digital platforms and formats as well as new consumer consumption patterns. Viacom is forefront of this reinvention of advertising, with a broad range of products and programs designed to connect with Viacom’s fans in whatever environments and on whatever platforms are most significant to them.
In this role, you will work with a team of product managers, sales executives and data engineers who design and deliver advanced advertising products and experiences for the Viacom Vantage platform for advanced advertising.
Overview and Responsibilities
• Execute a data feature prioritization plan for partnership investments in data and measurement solutions
• Partner with solutions and account teams in the rollout of our new products as part of the sales lifecycle from pre-sales and planning through delivery
• Strategic analysis and research to identify product gaps and market needs
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and business proposals
• Serve as team guide for use of data in advertising
Basic Qualifications
• 2 years working experience in business development, sales, or product management in the Media/Advertising industry
• A deep understanding of audience targeting, advertising business models in TV and digital, and an aptitude for working with data-driven advertising products
• Experience working closely with major partners in the media ecosystem, with consistent record of successful partnerships
• Prior involvement in deal-making/negotiation
• Ability to communicate complicated information in a clear and concise manner
Additional Qualifications
• Experience presenting to and meeting with executives
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience building and leading presentations and crafting product documentation (user guides, FAQs)
• Real passion for problem-solving and the ability to find answers to difficult questions – the sort of answers that others might struggle to find
• An ambitious approach that is passionate about building businesses within a dynamic environment, while changing the way partners perceive our brand and our products
