Full Time Job
As a Manager of Application Support at Viacom, you will apply your strategic and analytical talents to resolve technology challenges. You will help own the systems’ portfolio and be the domain expert on all business and system processes for the Global Distribution and Business and Latin America Linear Ad Sales business units. You will ensure that business units are well supported. You will be part of a team that bridges the gap between the business users and the Applications Development team responsible for building and maintaining Sales systems.
You will:
• Own and drive the product roadmap
• Interface with users and design core requirements, do gap analysis, and implement changes effectively
• Work hand-in-hand with software engineering and QA teams
• Manage the full product life cycle
• Support time-sensitive monthly billing and financial closes activities
• Develop and manage project plans
• Provide timely status on all activities for team, including clear identification of all risk and issues affecting scope of work
Solution Development and Delivery
• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation
• Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients
• Easily recognizes system deficiencies, and implement effective solutions
• Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project
Business/Customer:
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients
• Work closely with business users to ensure development activities aligned with business objectives
• Manages external vendors to ensure delivery and support software solutions
• Assist the business in defining and prioritizing scope for new projects and ongoing maintenance of existing technology
• Act as a liaison between the technology teams and the business community
Basic Qualifications
• 5 – 7 years’ experience in CRM Technologies or similar systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or Equivalent Experience
Additional Qualifications
• Proficiency in SQL, Business Objects, or database inquiry tools
• Outstanding social skills – written, presentation skills, etc.
• Extraordinary client handling skills – able to work with all levels within the organization including executive management
• Experience with CRM Systems
