International Campaign Coordinator - Ad Sales Strategy & Operations

The Digital Online Operations team within the Ad Sales Strategy & Operations department is a support team with an international remit. We support ad sales teams across all continents and company clusters. Our colleagues are in different time zones and countries. We also make things happen by timely trafficking and scheduling online campaigns across dozen of websites and apps and external platforms. We also support Product teams and Developers during launch and re-launch of our properties.
The Campaign Trafficker will be part of the Online Operations team responsible for implementing & trafficking web, mobile, tablet and app advertising campaigns across a large network of well-established international sites. The role is based in London and the Campaign Trafficker will focus on supporting the team to manage campaigns across all international regions.
Daily responsibilities in this trafficking role include:
• Acting as point of contact for gathering digital creative assets for advertising campaigns across all O&O properties and external platform (i.e. YouTube, Snapchat)
• Preparing end of campaign and ad hoc reports and screen grabs for external clients
• Managing internal advertising campaigns and keeping the house orders complete and up to date
• Assisting the Ad Ops Manager to deliver interactive advertising campaigns for key sales accounts (via Google’s GAM & FreeWheel’s MRM)
• Perform quality assurance tests on advertising material to ensure advertising content is ready for upload on the server. Follow compliance and GDPR processes for EU campaigns and kids advertising.
• Support the Ad Ops Manager in trafficking, optimisation and testing of all premium advertisements on Viacom sites and YouTube
• Support all programmatic activities across video, display and mobile (i.e. Adx, Facebook FAN, Pubmatic, Rubicon, Exchange Bidding).
• Track and report on advertising activities
• Assist in maintaining inventory and updating delivery and campaign data for internal spreadsheets
• Under guidance archive placements and maintain orders in GAM and FW
• Assisting the Ad Ops Manager in testing rich media and developing interactive creatives including video
• Interacting with agencies, sales, site managers, production and development, and marketing teams
• Develop a strong understanding of the various disciplines within ad operations (product, planning and campaign management) so as to able to cover resources where needed in the best possible manner.
• Work towards competency with the ad servers and coding languages such as HTML and CSS.
• Attending regular training sessions and shadow team members in their day-to-day roles.
Key Skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse with site managers and developers and well as account executives and clients/agencies
• Demonstrated excellent computer skills (especially with Microsoft's Excel), interest in new digital media and technologies. Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, CSS, JavaScript an advantage
• Capacity for meticulous review of campaign data in auditing and data entry
• Client Services focus and understanding that this is a Support role
• Ability to handle heavy workload, mediating many demands and requests with strong problem solving drive
• Smart and quick learner with organizational agility and strong attention to detail
• Effective team player with strong resiliency
• Passion for interactive media and advertising
