Full Time Job
The Director, Post Production & Operations will supervise all aspects of the post-production process and develop effective procedures, workflows and systems to keep the post process running smoothly, as it relates to the Viacom Hollywood Facility.
• Attend and contribute to relevant department/project status meetings.
• Work closely with Production Technology and Operations groups to streamline systems and procedures.
• Effectively communicate with Producers in the execution of their current projects.
• Draft and publish initial Post Production workflows and planning documents (including schedules)
• Continually monitor all projects in progress with regard to schedule strategy, update meetings, etc.
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including the personnel involved, maintaining workflows across Hollywood Brands
• Work closely within the Viacom Hollywood Post team to manage each project efficiently from pre-production through delivery.
• Ensure proper distributions of resources to maximize efficiency
• Stay up to date with new developing digital production and post-production technologies and workflows.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years experience in television, and/or post production.
• Extensive post production contacts
• Experience in diverse formats - scripted, live event, reality or animation

• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Works collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional teams.
• Consistently communicates using appropriate methods for the situation.
