Full Time Job
Principal responsibilities include managing the financial planning process for the Global Consumer Products organization. This role requires an autonomous individual to the global revenue and expense support for financial recognition, forecasting, reporting, internal analysis, etc. The candidate filling this role will be tasked with organizing & reporting full P&L performance across all groups to various audiences, including sales team, marketing, senior management, cluster finance & corporate finance. This position will report to the VP Finance Global Licensing.
• Manage P&L for global consumer products and home video
• Partner with Paramount CP finance team to consolidate financials
• Provide monthly updates on quarter and full year outlooks along with assessment of risks & opportunities
• Identify and track risks & opportunities for Global Consumer products and home video
• Conduct monthly meetings with business leads to review financial performance against target budget. Provide actionable analysis
• Manage P&L allocation process to local territories
• Submit required financial packages to FP&A teams and Controllers group
• Assist in creating long-range strategic plans and annual budgets
• Ad hoc analysis as required by senior management
• Coach, lead, and develop team of 3 in NY, London, and Budapest
• Encourage process standardization and efficiency
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 7 years of finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Additional Qualifications
• MBA preferred
• Superior Microsoft Excel skills including detailed and automated modeling abilities
• Budgeting, analytical, and strategic planning experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate and successfully work with senior operating and finance executives
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good leadership skills, a self-starter with a sense of urgency
