Full Time Job
The Director is responsible for understanding and communicating the environmental, social and governance impacts that are created by Viacom though its operations and value chain.
You will help strengthen Viacom’s policies, establish a baseline reporting strategy, manage risks and identify goals and targets for the firm’s global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Culture & Corporate Social Responsibility, You will develop and implement an integrated ESG and CSR measurement and reporting program for Viacom globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establishing Viacom’s global ESG and CSR measurement and reporting practices
• Working closely with functional partners across legal, finance, investor relations, procurement, facilities, human resources, communications and others
• Overseeing the development of Viacom’s external ESG and CSR reporting, including annual Social Impact Reports, Materiality Assessments and Global Responsibility Reports, according to industry standards and best practices
• Aligning global ESG and CSR reporting efforts with company-wide goals, corporate reputation strategy and functional business priorities
• Leading strategy and application processes for inclusion in ESG and CSR-related indexes, disclosures and raters/rankers
• Develop a value-creation strategy connecting business and ESG priorities beyond reporting to focus on evaluation, management and measurement of goals and targets
• Establishing goals for ongoing ESG and CSR measurement and reporting, keeping abreast of industry issues and new ESG practices
• Developing critical metrics to measure and assess the impact of reporting in conjunction with other partners
• Identify risks and opportunities that may impact Viacom from an ESG and corporate responsibility perspective
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Viacom Marketing to develop strategic ESG and CSR communications plans tailored to key stakeholders (employees, investors, consumers, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 6-10 years of Corporate Social Responsibility experience on the agency or client side, and direct experience developing CSR and ESG external reporting programs

• Outstanding written and verbal oral communication with strong business acumen
• High degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate a matrixed global organization
• Strong executive presence, able to effectively manage complex, sensitive and confidential matters
• Creative strategic thinker and problem solver
• Excellent influencing and project management skills
• Extensive experience/training with ESG global reporting standards (GRI, SASB, etc)
