Job Summary
The Digital Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of VIMN’s transactional digital (EST & TVOD) business primarily in the UK, working closely with partners such as iTunes, Amazon, Google. This position will be responsible for working with the platforms to maximize revenues across the VIMN portfolio as well as assisting in the growth of the business by supporting the Director in promotional and pricing strategy and revenue analysis. The role will also support the growth of new lines of business across VIMN’s game and short form portfolio, as well as contributing support to VIMN’s SVOD partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
80% - Managing the DTO/ EST/TVOD/SVOD business and partner relationships
Account Management
Review and analyse sales data across EST, TVOD, DTO business lines in the UK, Nordics, Russia, CEE
Manage a portfolio of key digital accounts, monitor customer profitability and prioritise commercial activities with each account
Serve as main point of contact for all key accounts on day to day basis
Operations
Coordinate with Technical Operations and VOD scheduling groups to ensure assets are delivered and ingested in a timely manner
Meet with brand teams on a regular basis to understand programming highlights, priorities and upcoming premieres
Marketing & Promotions
Build promotional calendars, by-account and by-region, to maximize opportunities around competitor titles, local holidays and world events
Update digital platform portals including securing marketing opportunities for Viacom content
Conduct regular product presentations and business reviews for each account
Implement joint activity planning with each account to ensure Viacom delivers against their objectives while achieving targets
Reporting & Analytics
Monitor weekly/monthly performance and recommend action as appropriate to improve sales, margin, and share of customer business
Prepare regular reporting on the performances of platforms, titles, and markets
Research new platforms for potential future distribution opportunities
20% - Driving new business opportunities and supporting digital deal implementation
Short Form
Track short form and mid form pipeline across various teams companywide, including rights, format, avails status, location, duration etc
Strategize approaches and monetization plans for the content
Formulate bespoke short form packages and related sales collateral for client pitches
Lead the facilitation and coordination of deal execution across the cluster
Games
Coordinate closely with NYC team around HTML5 and native app game pipelines and global deals
Serve as main point of contact in cluster around content, format, avails for licensing games
Role Specific Skills/Attributes
Current experience in sales / digital licensing, or account management for a studio/entertainment, media, platform
Knowledge of digital entertainment business models, usage models and technology
Excellent oral and written communication, planning skills
Strong data analysis, communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills in order to build and develop both internal and external relationships
Comfortable navigating a matrix organization and multiple geographic locations
Computer skills required: MS Office Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
Preferred (not necessary): use of Tableau, iTunes Connect
