Full Time Job
The Coordinator, TV Post Production supports the Television Post Production team in managing all aspects of post production for scripted comedy & drama projects. The coordinator organizes key post information and workflows for original productions from pre-production through wrap & archive. S/He works closely with show Post Production teams and key department heads to ensure clear communication of both studio and production needs. The coordinator juggles multiple responsibilities with great attention to detail. S/He is proactive and a clear, confident communicator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as liaison between show post teams, PTV Post and other studio departments on all shows
• Track and manage post schedules, updating studio departments as necessary
• Create and maintain status report encompassing all projects in pre-production, production and post production
• Ensure successful onboarding of shows and personnel into studio systems
• Set up and manage dailies and cut viewing access for shows
• Audit completion/delivery of post production materials during prep, production, archive and wrap
• Research and maintain preferred post staff database
• Maintain preferred vendor list
• Manage processing of Vendor Agreements
• Manage Publicity and Marketing Department requests
• Support SVP, Television Post Production:
• Manage calendar and schedule/coordinate daily meetings
• Answer and screen a high volume of phone calls and email, taking action when appropriate and following up
• Arrange complex travel plans and itineraries
• Complete monthly expense reports
• Perform additional administrative duties such as filing, typing, and copying documents
• Perform other tasks as assigned; including assisting Director and Sr. Manager with tasks and scheduling
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 2-4 years related experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Google Docs & Google Sheets
• Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
Additional Qualifications
• Understanding of post production details and nuances
• Experience in scripted primetime network & cable productions
• Thrives in a fast-paced, fast-growing, collaborative environment
• Familiar with the current trends and workflows for both UHD/4K and HDR
• Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
• Meticulous attention to detail required
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current post processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working both in the field and in a corporate environment is a plus
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premier a plus
