The Production Content Review (PCR) team provides counsel across all Viacom brands (BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, et al) regarding legal issues relating to multi-platform programming, including intellectual property, defamation, privacy, right of publicity, and handles related all claims and a variety of pre-litigation matters.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to multiple legal executives on the Production Content Review team within the Business and Legal Affairs Department at Viacom Media Networks, and coordinates the Production Content Review function.
Responsibilities:
• Field incoming phone calls
• Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, conference calls, lunches and other business appointments
• Maintain calendars and schedules
• Maintain and update Production Content Review (“PCR”) charts and databases
• Keep track of all PCR activity for the group
• Coordinate requests for review with various production groups and serve as a primary point of contact for those groups
• Prepare weekly reports
• Perform legal administrative tasks including Bluebooking
• Maintain and update contact information
• Draft letters and correspondence (including blacklining, etc.)
• Execute travel arrangements & process travel and expense reports
• Create and maintain well organized digital filing systems
• PDF and photocopy documents
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years in a legal or administrative assistant capacity
• High proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat
• Background or active interest in the legal aspects of Viacom Media Network’s core business, including entertainment law
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize a large volume of diverse projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Able to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
