Manager, Social Strategy -Nickelodeon (Viacom International Media Networks)

Overview and Responsibilities
Overview:
The Manager, Social Strategy will support our Director, Social Strategy at Viacom International Media Networks. You'll assist with social strategy and operational efforts across international platforms and accounts/channels, emphasizing the continued development of social presence within markets as well as monetization and paid initiatives.
Responsibilities:
You'll work closely with our Director of Social Strategy to implement strategies in line with priorities and objectives across international markets
• Lead cross-platform editorial and publishing calendars for centralized activations ad international markets across all social platforms
• Combine data insights and creative opportunity to develop social content in conjunction with the digital creative team
• Project management of social components including linear and evergreen campaigns as well as tentpole events
• Work with our social media team and agencies to launch and maintain new YouTube channels as well as Facebook and Instagram accounts
• Build and measure paid media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
• Help drive adoption of new practices and share knowledge across international markets, providing platform/feature training as necessary
• Prioritize content planning with international markets & refine plans based on performance
• Maintain social production communication, workflows and pipelines. Monitor daily content delivery and usage
• Handle social rights management claims, disputes and takedowns
• Explore new opportunities and features in the social media landscape
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 3 years within social media
• Deep knowledge of established and emerging platforms and standards of practice including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit and TikTok
• Detailed understanding of organic social strategies and tactics with an emphasis on video
• Experience in crafting, executing and monitoring paid campaigns across social platforms
• Proficient knowledge of YouTube channel optimization and monetization. Ability to analyze and assess channel and performance, demonstrating know-how of the YouTube ecosystem and platform strategies preferred
• Familiar with platform specific functionalities such as Facebook Creator Studio, Publishing Tools, YouTube Studio, Ad Breaks etc.
• Experience using social tools for content management, analytics and listening such as Falcon, Khoros, Sprinklr, Crowd Tangle, Socialbakers, Dash Hudson, Tubular, Sysomos, Wochit, Woobox, SnappyTV and Telescope
