Summer Intern - Film Production

This is a Freelance Unpaid Internship

Internship Start Date/Season: June 27 - July 15
Internship Duration: 19 days
Time/Days Required: Must be available for daytime and overnight film shoots - dates, times, hours flexible.
Workplace Requirements: Must be willing to commit to at least 4 shooting days/nights. Must be able to drive and commute to Frazier Park, CA (1 hour north of Burbank -- Gas/Mileage Reimbursed)

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization teaching military veterans the art and craft of film writing and film production.

We are producing a micro-budget feature-length drama north of Los Angeles and seeking unpaid production interns seeking experience in feature film directing, producing, production design, and/or cinematography. This film will be produced with a skeletal, 6-person, crew of experienced filmmakers and the production intern will have the opportunity and be expected to assist in any facet of the production that requires assistant. This internship will be more than ''gopher' tasks. You will first serve as primary assistant to the production designer/art department, set dresser. Then, you'll have the opportunity to observe/shadow/assist any of the filmmakers as they produce this very non-traditional production. This opportunity is especially fitting for any aspiring filmmaker wanting to learn low-budget, quality, filmmaking.

Production Interns that contribute beyond the traditional PA role may receive production credit as Production Coordinator or other Production crew credit beyond Production Assistant.
