This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Versus Creative is seeking a paid Social Media Marketing Intern for the Fall semester to support music marketing and social media projects, including festival and artist campaigns. As an intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our team, learn the ins and outs of social media marketing in the music industry, and contribute to music-related projects. This internship is designed for candidates who are dedicated, organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
Basic internship description:
• Support project coordinators in data collection and research.
• Conduct research on creators, influencers and fandoms for client-specific projects.
• Contribute to the development and ideation of marketing and social media concepts.
• Collaborate closely with the account managers to learn creative strategies, content curation and
client engagement techniques for social media.
• Complete 1-2 semester-long projects that showcase your contributions and skills.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in music business, creative entertainment industries, social media management, or a similar major.
• Basic understanding and experience using social and new media platforms.
• Self-starter, has a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage responsibilities as part of a
team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability of balancing multiple projects
and meeting tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, with an eye for quality and a commitment to generating error-free work.
• Proficient with Apple products, Excel and Google sheets
• Passionate about the music industry.
This is a paid internship position with a rate of $16/hr, with the option for college credit and a flexible hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will work 20-30 hours a week from September - December/January. The duration of the internship and the number of weekly hours can be discussed and adjusted to accommodate the intern's availability and academic requirements.
