This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Versus Creative is seeking a paid intern for the Fall semester to support music marketing and social media projects, including festival and artist campaigns. As a Design & Social Media Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to utilize your graphic design and editing skills to create compelling visual content.
Basic internship description:
• Create and edit static and dynamic assets for various social media platforms and other mediums.
• Contribute to the development and ideation of marketing and social media concepts.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to refine graphic design skills for a large range of
clients.
• Complete 1-2 semester-long projects that showcase your contributions and skills.
Ideal candidate:
• Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or similar major.
• Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and demonstrating your understanding of
design principles and techniques.
• Basic understanding and experience using social and new media platforms.
• Self-starter, has a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage responsibilities as part of a
team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability of balancing multiple projects
and meeting tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, with an eye for quality and a commitment to generating error-free work.
• Someone who wants to expand and grow their skill set, learn about the music industry, and the
professional creative space.
• Passionate about the music industry.
This is a paid internship position with a rate of $16/hr, with the option for college credit and a flexible hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will work 20-30 hours a week from September-December/January. The duration of the internship and the number of weekly hours can be discussed and adjusted to accommodate the intern's availability and academic requirements.
