Venue Booking Representative/Talent Buyer

Job Description:
Associate will be responsible for identifying new business for 60+ Sports Arenas throughout North America ; managing venue, agent and promoter accounts; talent buying; collecting, summarizing and distributing information to Venue Coalition Arenas and the live event industry.

Responsibilities:
• Identify, research and coordinate bookings (Concerts, Comedy, Family Shows, etc) from a regional and national perspective
• Identify and anticipate new event opportunities for Arenas (Rentals, Co-promoters and In-house Promote)
• Identify, create and manage new relationships with content providers (Agents, Promoters, Producers)
• Identify new business strategies, services and opportunities for Arenas
• Work with venue staff to collect, organize and distribute booking information
• Maintain spreadsheets, calendars and information databases
• Build talent offers and budgets for event performances. Negotiate, Communicate and Confirm Shows.
• Report directly to President and Executive Vice President
• Servicing clients, understanding their needs and being proactive to create incremental business
• Work as a team to manage information flow while providing a great customer service experience to clients
• Special projects as needed

Qualifications:
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent organizational detail skills
• Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Solid math skills
• 2+ Years Booking Experience
• 4 year degree from a recognized University
