Job Title: Master Control Operator

Basis Functions:
The Candidate must be bilingual with a fluent spanish.
Under the direction of the Master Control Supervisor this position will be responsible for maintain the video and audio functions of Master Control and insure the broadcast of severals channels.
Responsibilities include perform all operating functions of Automation System; video servers; VTRs; various external devices. The candidate must have the ability to manually switch to back-up systems/tapes/spots in an emergency on-air outage situation; maintain discrepancy reports and troubleshoot technical issues in Master Control and comunication with the Engineers. Knowledge of tape edition required.
Must be available to work on weekends and holidays any shift.
Perform all Playback and Monitoring functions of servers, Review, edit, monitoring, Ingest ''on air'' material into the servers and form tapes at the direction of the Supervisor. Live broadcast feeding from diferents sources: satellites, fiber, studio, etc. Maintain an excelente comunication with the Supervisor, Engineers and Traffic. Maintain all appropriate ''on air'' logs and discrepancy reports and others reports.
Candidate should be detail oriented, capable of working under pressure and capable of performing and tracking multiple tasks during each shift. The candidate must have a flexible attitude and be capable of taking direction from the Supervisor, Master Control. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours and schedule could change without notice from week to week

Others requierements:

Knowledge automation systems;
Knowledge of fiber/satellite feed operations;
Knowledge of Vectorscope and Waveform monitors
Knowledge of patchbays switchers
Knowledge of Video servers
Knowledge of VTRs; BSP, DvCam, DVCpro.
Knowledge of digital router functions
Knowledge of Excel a plus.
Knowledge of dubs, and QC.
