Variety Business Intelligence (VBI) is the leading entertainment data solution that provides verified, timely, and accurate metadata around people, projects, and companies that work in the global entertainment business. We are looking for a Coordinator, Climate Change and Sustainability Talent Research to build out data on how on-screen talent engages and communicates views on climate change, sustainability, and other causes.
Responsibilities:
The Assistant, Climate Change and Sustainability Talent Research will work closely with the SVP Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team for VBI to ensure that data points around climate change and sustainability beliefs and practices for talent are reflected accurately in the VBI database. The position will also focus on other causes and philanthropy-related issues for entertainment industry talent.
What You'll Do:
Primary research for individual public entertainment industry figures, including social media;
Outreach to talent representatives to confirm demographic data for clients;
Collaborate with internal colleagues and stakeholders;
Assisting with analysis of talent attached to film, TV and streaming projects;
Supporting VBI's collaboration with its data partners.
Enter data into VBI's databases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Education or prior professional experience in Climate Science, Atmospheric Science, Sustainability or related fields preferred but not required.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills and a very high attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be available to work full time in the Pacific Standard time zone
Excellent experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.
