• Oversee new AV system integration, including lighting, sound, video, and networked control systems across the resort
• Serve as the go-to AV guru for production teams, IT, conventions, and special events
• Schedule and lead AV teams and technicians with confidence and clarity
• Participate in pre-production and show advancement for all in-house and guest productions
• Assist in equipment asset tracking, inspection routines, and long-term maintenance plans
• Partner with the Senior Technical Operations Manager to develop killer training programs for AV techs
• Create and uphold a safe, energized, and positive environment for the entire entertainment team
• Set the standard for AV excellence across VAI's multi-venue spaces
What You Bring:
• 5+ years of AV systems experience in a large venue, resort, or production environment
• Deep knowledge of:
• Q-SYS programming & deployment
• Dante audio, networked video, digital signage

• Lighting control systems and dimming hardware
• Show control and BGM systems
• Strong project management and crew leadership skills
• Theater, touring, resort, or convention production background a big plus
• OSHA 30 General Industry Safety Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexible schedules: Weekends, nights, holidays are all part of the showbiz life
• A team-first mindset and a personal commitment to VAI's CORE values: Collaboration, Ownership, Resilience, Enthusiasm
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in high, hot, cold, or confined spaces
• Stamina for long shifts with lots of walking, climbing, and gear movement
• Good manual dexterity for operating gear, tools, and fine-tuned adjustments
• Strong hearing, vision, and spatial awareness (you're the one making it sound and look perfect, after all)
