This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Description:
Utopia is seeking an intern eager to develop experience in the independent film industry. The intern will assist the marketing and sales teams with various day-to-day tasks and directly support release campaigns and ideation for upcoming releases.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
Conduct grassroots outreach to influencers and organizations for upcoming releases.
Update company website and social media with relevant news.
Submit entries to festivals and awards for current titles.
Design promotional graphics for digital releases.
Track press, word-of-mouth, online reception to screenings.
Assist with scheduling talent opportunities.
Sales
Update and research buyer contacts for non-theatrical and international sales.
Assist with drafting pitch materials and sales copy.
Assist with assembling catalog title avails.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator and/or InDesign a plus)
Well-versed in latest industry trends and news
Reliable self-starter with great organization and communication skills
Familiarity with Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite
Additional Information:
Internship term: August 9 - November 24 (Flexible)
Weekly Time Commitment: 2-4 days a week, depending on intern availability
