The Premium Experience Department is dedicated to providing world-class premium service and delivering unique experiences and benefits to Utah Jazz premium seating holders. The Premium Experience Host position is responsible for greeting, seating, and creating positive and professional interactions with guests throughout each pre and regular season Utah Jazz home game.
Premium Experience Host locations include: The Lexus Club, the Eide Bailly Club, the WCF Club, the Toyota Club, Courtside Suites, Corner Lounges, Loge Boxes, Suite-level bridges, Club Entrances, Level 6 Spaces, and The Courtside Club. Specific assignments will be determined by the host’s direct supervisor at the time of hire and are subject to change from event to event. Expected hours will vary depending on the Utah Jazz home game schedule and specific host location assignments.
The position is seasonal and is expected to begin mid-September of each year and continue through the last Utah Jazz home game (playoffs included). An anticipated end date will be June 30 of each year. Hosts will be expected to re-apply for the position at the conclusion of each Utah Jazz season if interested in doing so.
All full-time and part-employees of the Utah Jazz are required to be fully vaccinated (fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks since your final dose). DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be prepared and willing to work in a variety of premium areas as needed to support the team as a whole
• Exhibit a positive and happy attitude that is friendly and contagious to those around you
• Warmly welcome guests as they arrive for pre-game dinner and half-time amenities
• Be knowledgeable and familiar with the arena, premium seating locations and your specific assigned area to best assist guests
• Present yourself in a confident and professional manner in both appearance and personality
• Scan tickets to games/events
• Ensure your assigned area is properly prepared and ready for guests to arrive
• Exemplify the Utah Jazz Premium Experience High Five Principles which include: initiate contact, give a friendly smile, give a warm greeting, create solutions, and make memories

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be available two and a half (2.5) hours before each pre, regular, and postseason Utah Jazz home game and throughout the remainder of each game
• Must be available to attend three pre-season training sessions in September/October of each year
• Must be available to work concerts and other events as needed
• Must possess and maintain excellent communication skills
• Must be able to enforce club rules in a pleasant and agreeable manner
• Must be punctual, groomed, and dressed in uniform for a professional environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
