Full Time Job
The Guest Services Manager is a key member of the Public Safety Department, and works hand in hand with the Event Security Department. This position will manage all aspects of the Guest Services Department. He/she works closely with the Director of Guest Services to ensure the delivery of world class guest service for all events at Vivint Smart Home Arena, including Jazz games. The Guest Services Manager consistently exceeds expectations in creating extraordinary memories for all guests.
Primary Duties:
• Actively manages the Guest Services Department event operations
• Assists in the training of current and new Guest Service team members
• Demonstrate in all aspects of job performance a service-oriented attitude along with the outstanding Guest Service skills expected of all Guest Service team members
• Completes department scheduling and payroll in a timely manner
• Creates and implements policies and procedures to maintain the highest quality of service
• Represent the Public Safety Management Team at Vivint Smart Home Arena and Smith's Ballpark events
• Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the company
• Be a student, be a teacher, be a leader

• Special projects and tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Public Safety and Direct of Guest Services when needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration or a related field or equivalent amount of education and work experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of guest or event services experience in a managerial capacity in stadium or arena management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports and entertainment facility.
• Ability and willingness to work an event driven schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to speak in front of audiences ranging from less than 10 to 500 people.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactively create solutions to problems and situations before and after they arise with little or no supervision
• Strong leadership and personnel management experience with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Proficient in the operation of ABI Mastermind or other scheduling and payroll system preferred
Physical Requirements:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves in English both written and verbally
• Ability to work long hours while standing or walking, often up and down stairs and outside in all-weather conditions
• This person must be able to lift 50 lbs.
