This is a Full Time Job
The Utah Jazz are seeking a motivated Marketing Email Coordinator to assist with strategy and execution of marketing campaigns within email and SMS (text messaging) channels. A successful email coordinator pays strong attention to detail, is an excellent communicator, dependable, and a creative problem-solver. This is a full-time, hourly position, working 40 hours per week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and execute email marketing campaigns for gamedays, offers, newsletters, and other operational emails.
• Engage with fans through the execution of marketing campaigns using SMS marketing software.
• Assist with reporting on campaign metrics, including open rates, click rates, and revenue generation.
• Collaborate across organizational departments, using email, SMS, and push notifications to accomplish key objectives.
• Track sponsor fulfillment, including asset inclusion, reporting, and communication.
• Manage email marketing calendar.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns focused on audience growth in the email and SMS spaces.
• Complete email and SMS deployments regardless of day. This will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Protect the reputation of the company.
• Exemplify the Utah Jazz mission and values: transparency, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
• Accept other duties, as assigned.
COMPETENCIES:
• Experience with Marketo or other email marketing platforms.
• HTML and CSS or basic coding experience.
• Copywriting.
• Asana or other project management software.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-year degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
