The Administrative Assistant/Coordinator, USO Show Troupe position is responsible for supporting daily operations, programs and events related to the Show Troupe Program. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly-organized, enthusiastic multi-tasker, and comfortable working in a diverse and dynamic environment. The position will report directly to the Director, USO Show Troupe working closely with the cast and our client base.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Support all production and administrative aspects.
• Prepare and handle necessary logistics for performances and tours.
• Prepare and distribute itineraries.
• Post-event information gathering and compilation.
• Prepare expense reports and client invoices to include all supporting expense documentation.
• Database management.
• Organize and maintain files including music library and performer submissions.
• Manage asset inventory including but not limited to costume, sound equipment and gig bag contents.
• Prepare logistics for new performer auditions.
• Support production efforts for USO of Metropolitan New York special events.
Required Qualifications
• Personable self-starter and multi-tasker.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize.
• Computer proficiency of Microsoft Office programs primarily Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Exercises discretion and judgement.
• Flexibility.
