Shopping for USA Baseball gear in a retail location that includes shelves of Team USA New Era caps and Nike t-shirts, pullover and hoodies, and racks of Nike shorts; there is only one place in the world in which to do it: The USA Baseball Satellite Store located at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ With 1,000 square feet of USA Baseball gear, the Satellite Store is the destination of many during the tournaments and other major events at the complex – including players and their families. The store also attracts visitors to the Greater Phoenix-area, who while they may not be in town for a baseball tournament, still make it a point to visit USA Baseball's retail store. The shop acts as an important link for the organization with its fan base. It's not unusual for store staff to answer questions related to all aspects of USA Baseball, from directions to the fields, to the steps for trying out for national teams.

The Team Store Associate position is a part-time/hourly position at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ. Multiple candidates to be hired.
IN THIS ROLE
• You will assist with daily opening and closing procedures
• You will greet guests in a friendly manner as they enter/exit the Team Store
• You will offer product suggestions and recommendations to guests when assistance is needed
• You will develop a thorough understanding of how to use Shopify Point of Sale system
• You will restock on a regular basis throughout the day
• You will ensure merchandise is always neatly and properly displayed
• You will perform tasks of daily upkeep of the Team Store, such as cleaning
• You may lift up to 40 pounds
• You will provide information to guests about USA Baseball events taking place
QUALIFICATIONS
• You have a flexible schedule and weekend availability for all USA Baseball events taking place at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ
• You possess strong customer service skills
• You have a minimum of one year retail experience
• You can successfully complete a background check prior to employment
