Background: There will multiple Creative Video internship opportunities/positions available (North Carolina, Arizona, Youth Programs, Prospect Development Pipeline).
Position 1: North Carolina (2 positions)
May 2024 - August 2024
Background: USA Baseball is looking a for Creative Video intern to help execute USA Baseball's media plan and is responsible for upholding the brand of our nation's pastime through the creation of video projects, videography, and social media visuals for USA Baseball's events, national team programs and development initiatives. The Creative Video intern will report to the USA Baseball Director and Assistant Director of Creative Services.
Position Details:
• Full-time hours (40 hours/week).
• This position has limited travel required.
• Based in Cary, North Carolina.
Position 2: Arizona (1 position)
June 2024 - July 2024

Position 3: Prospect Development Pipeline (1 position)
May 2024 - August 2024
Background: USA Baseball is looking for a creative video intern to help execute USA Baseball's media plan and is responsible for upholding the brand of our nation's pastime through the creation of video projects, videography, and social media visuals for USA Baseball's events, national team programs and development initiatives. This position will work directly with the Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP), which is a collaborative effort between USA Baseball and the Commissioner's Office that establishes an official identification and player development pathway for amateur baseball players in the United States. Athletes participating in the PDP undergo unique baseball and athletic assessments using state of the art technology as a part of the most comprehensive evaluative experience in any sport.
This position will work with a team of other interns as well as full-time USA Baseball staff to facilitate on-site operations at PDP events around the country during the spring and summer of 2021. The creative video intern will report to the USA Baseball Director and Assistant Director of Creative Services and Senior Director of Technology, and will be supported by additional staff who will assist in the growth of the program.
Position Details:
• Full-time hours (40 hours/week).
• Domestic travel required for this position (all travel costs covered by USA Baseball).
• Based in Cary, North Carolina.
Position 4: Youth Programs (1 position)
April 2024 - August 2024
Background: USA Baseball is looking for a creative video intern to help execute USA Baseball's media plan and is responsible for upholding the brand of our nation's pastime through the creation of video projects, videography, photography, and social media visuals for USA Baseball's events, national team programs and development initiatives. This position will work directly with youth programs which includes Fun At Bat, Homegrown, and other youth program initiatives. This position will work with a team of other interns as well as full-time USA Baseball staff to facilitate on-site videography and photography at youth program events around the country during the spring and summer of 2023. The creative video intern will report to the USA Baseball Director and Assistant Director of Creative Services, and Director of Youth Program, and will be supported by additional staff who will assist in the growth of the program.
Position Details:
• Full-time hours (40 hours/week).
• Domestic travel required for this position (all travel costs covered by USA Baseball).
• Based in Cary, North Carolina.
Position Responsibilities:
• Content creation and curation of stories for the organization as dictated in its yearly media plan.
• On-site videography at key events for USA Baseball and the Prospect Development Pipeline at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, domestically and internationally, as assigned.
• Assistance with creative vision through videography, photography, and editing of game recaps, features, and promotional videos.
• Archiving and organizing past video content on behalf of the organization.
• Assists the Communications and Social Media Departments with scheduled communication for the baseball community through social media outlets and the official website, creation of social media graphics, and creative video projects for all programs and departments within the organization as assigned.
• Support the USA Baseball national team development programs, youth programs, and Prospect Development Pipeline with the implementation of their strategic plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects.
• Proficiency in sports videography.
• Flexible and adaptable work schedule for changing organizational needs.
• Willingness to travel to events throughout the U.S. and internationally.
• Passionate about baseball with an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape.
• Proficiency in sports photography and videography.
Required Education:
• All candidates should be in possession of or working toward a degree.
